This is a dance
form prevalent in South India, one of the most
sophisticated and popular classical dance styles of
India. Sunanda had her initial training in dance in Bharatanatyam at the age of six and since then has given innumerable performances in this style of dancing. She has had the oppurtunity to learn from distinguished gurus Kalaimamani Kadirvelu, Kalaimamani Mahalingam Pillai, Guru T.V.Sounderajan, Shri Dipak Majumdar, Smt.Jayashree Nair and presently Smt.Tejiswini Rao in Kattumanar Muthukumar Pillai's bani |
